Institute for Student Achievement Summer Internship in Program Monitoring & Evaluation

The Institute for Student Achievement (ISA)  partners with schools and districts to transform school and classroom environments, and educator practices, in ways that effectively meet the social-emotional and academic learning needs of students, particularly those from historically and structurally underserved backgrounds. Recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as an evidence-based approach to comprehensive school reform that significantly improves student outcomes, ISA provides job-embedded coaching and other forms of professional learning supports to strengthen educator capacities for strategic planning, design, and implementation of instructional and organizational change.
 

You’ll work virtually with ISA's monitoring evaluation and research team on monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities for ISA's equity and school improvement services lines. You’ll perform a wide variety of M&E related tasks including conducting literature reviews, creating logic models, developing M&E tools, data collection and analysis, and providing inputs to M&E reports.

• Bachelor's degree
• Currently enrolled in a U.S.-based  masters or doctoral degree program in education, public policy or related field
• Professional experience and/or graduate level course work in social science research methods and/or program evaluation methods.
