Internship Opportunities

The ETS Research & Development (R&D) division is pleased to announce that we’re now accepting applications for the 2023 Internship and Fellowship Programs in R&D. These programs seek applicants who wish to collaborate with ETS team members to carry out innovative and impactful R&D projects aligned with ETS’s mission.

ETS values candidates with diverse experiences and encourages all who are eligible to apply. We’re especially interested in applications from students from underrepresented groups and backgrounds.

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements

As a new hire or intern at ETS, you must be fully vaccinated or request and obtain an exemption due to medical or religious reasons by your start date. During the offer letter process, you will receive a document that you must complete and return.

We’re offering summer internship opportunities sponsored by four areas within ETS R&D:

National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP)
Institute for Student Achievement (ISA)

The programs are based out of the ETS offices in Princeton, New Jersey, but you'll have the option of a remote, on-campus or a hybrid internship experience depending on the internship program. The ISA internship is remote only.

Conduct foundational and applied research on critical issues facing education and the workforce.
