Where to Take Your Praxis Test

With two convenient options for testing, you can choose the one that’s best for you.

The Praxis tests at home are offered 7 days a week. You can test at home if:

• your test title is available for at home testing
• you live in the United States, a U.S. territory or Canada¹
• you meet the Equipment and Environment Requirements

The Praxis tests are administered at an international network of test centers² that include Prometric^® test centers, universities and other locations.

^{2 International Testing: Praxis testing outside the United States is available only at Prometric centers. You must be taking a test for employment, certification or entrance into a teacher education program in the United States. To view available testing sites for international testing, log in to the registration system. There may not be a Prometric center in your immediate vicinity. Contact the Praxis program at praxis@ets.org if there are no test centers available in the registration system. We’ll register you at the Prometric center nearest you. In some cases, you may need to make long-distance travel arrangements to get to the nearest test center.}
